Istanbul Mehmet X-Ray Turk Series

The X-Ray6 Turk Series by Istanbul Mehmet are a series of cymbals which are aimed towards drummers looking for more unusual cymbals to add to their existing set-up. X-Ray6 Turk cymbals are perforated to enhance the trashiness whilst decreasing the decay. This particular style of X-Ray crash features six large holes spaced evenly around the bow of the cymbal. These particular cymbals were introduced by Istanbul Mehmet at The NAMM Show 2018 earlier this year.

The Istanbul Mehmet 16″ X-Ray6 Turk Crash is medium-thin so they create sound quickly but still have enough weight behind them to cut through sound when needed. Quick, flashy attack and a fast decay perfectly describes this crash, it would make a welcome addition to any cymbal set-up, that we’re sure! As always all of the cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet are created using traditional cymbal making techniques and are handcrafted to perfection and this is another stunning example of the high quality that oozes from Istanbul Mehmet cymbals.
