Description
Officially known as Scleromystax barbatus, the Banded Cory is a peaceful bottom feeder which is distinguished by its unique elongated shape and abstract markings, it can reach over 10 cm in length making it one of the largest Corydoras like species when grown to its full size.
This fish must be kept in groups of at least 5 or 6 to minimize territorial behavior within its own species, they display no threat to other fish and make a great tank mate in a community aquarium.
